Friends and supporters of KAMI are actively engaged in fundraising activities. Funds go to support more KAMI stoves going into homes in Terrier Rouge and the surrounding countryside. KAMI supports two farmers' cooperatives which planted Jatropha seedlings in 2010. They are now producing beans for harvest.
Support form the Collingwood Rotary Club has gone to purchase an oil extractor to extrude oil from the Jatropha grown in the cooperative. The extractor and an oil cleaner have been delivered to Terrier Rouge, put into working order so that bio-diesel from Jatropha beans can be used in KAMI stoves.
